Hyundai Car Raffle Benefits Douglas County Schools

Thornton Road Hyundai Leads “Partners for Education” Effort

LITHIA SPRINGS, GA. – Thornton Road Hyundai is donating a brand new 2015 Hyundai Sonata to be given away by the Douglas County School System (DCSS) to the lucky winner of a raffle to benefit the 33 community schools.  Each school participating in the “Hyundai Car Raffle” is responsible for selling tickets with 100% of the sales proceeds going directly to that school.

General Manager David Booth says Thornton Road Hyundai is thrilled to participate since “we have several employees with children involved with DCSS activities from football to band to debate teams – this shows our shared support for the community and a good education system.”  With six children ages one to eleven, Booth sees the Hyundai giveaway as helping now and down the road and commented, “We believe in our schools as a critical foundation for today and tomorrow and our pleased to take part in this ‘Partners for Education’ effort – now we will find out how good these kids are as salespeople in selling tickets for their school!”

Tickets for the raffle can be purchased only at participating schools. The contest runs through October 4th when the winning ticket will be drawn at the DCSS Family Festival at the Foxhall Resort.  For more information visit or log on to  The dealership is located at 699 Thornton Road in Lithia Springs, or you can call 678-715-5000 with any ‘Hyundai Car Raffle’ questions.
