Just because you have a big family or are trying to expand it, doesn’t mean you need to go the SUV route. Even if you’re not a family-type but have a career where you need to carry equipment or products around, an SUV doesn’t have to be your default vehicle. Let’s face it: Not everyone enjoys driving a full-size SUV. They’re big, can be hard to navigate and they can cost a lot of money in gas if you have a lot of driving to do.
The ever-helpful folks at Thornton Road Hyundai wanted to tell you that Hyundai has the solution. With five different crossover vehicles available, you can have the SUV interior space without the SUV gas price at the pump. Most SUVs have room for five, but it’s the interior space that we’re looking for. These gas friendly crossovers from Hyundai are passenger and cargo-friendly, all in one not-huge package. Let’s take a look at these SUV alternatives:
2015 Hyundai Tucson
The 2015 Tucson gets 29 MPG and has seats for six. When you fold down the rear seats, you get 55.8 cubic feet of space to carry anything you need, from luggage to plants.
2015 Hyundai Santa Fe
The 2015 Santa Fe is one of my favorites. With a streamlined design and up to a seven-person capacity, it’s the most useful crossover yet! It still gets great gas mileage with up to 25 highway miles, and it has over 290 horsepower. With 80 cubic square feet of cargo space, you’ll have room to spare.
2015 Hyundai Genesis Coupe
If you really, seriously don’t like SUVs, this useful coupe is just the ticket! The 2015 Genesis Coupe looks like a sporty little number that gets 25 MPG, and still has room to spare. With 10 cubic feet of storage space, you may feel underwhelmed – but the 98 cubic feet of overall space makes up for that, no problem!
2015 Hyundai Genesis
The 2015 Genesis is the sedan-style of the coupe but, with almost 30 MPG, you’ll forgive it that stylistic shortcoming! It has room for five and 15.3 cubic feet of cargo space!
2015 Hyundai Equus
The 2015 Equus is the ultimate anti-SUV luxury crossover. With room for five, 23 MPG and 429 horsepower, you won’t mind having to take a couple trips to move that equipment around. But with 16.7 cubic feet of cargo space, you probably won’t have to!
Stop by Thornton Road Hyundai to check out these not-SUV crossover vehicles to see which is going to perfectly fit your needs! I’m stopping by tomorrow to take another look at the Santa Fe, I’m fairly sure it’s just what I require!
